As I said I would blog about my adventures of becoming girly. Well here’s the first adventure….enjoy! Since I was 16 or 17 I’ve always carried a black guys 3 fold wallet. Never anything different, come to think of it I’ve only had 2 wallets exactly the same. It’s always been carried in my back pocket and held everything I need. That is until I got tired of not having pens or pencils when I needed them, upon many other things. So I decided that I needed something more. The first thought was a bag (I refuse to call it a purse yet), as of now my backpack acts as my bag (my husband calls it my purse). And it all my life I’ve never really owned a bag so girly change #1. It’s a pain to carry my backpack everywhere and I wanted something more girly then a dark green JanSport backpack that I’ve had for 12 years. You know something cute and fashionable! So I picked out a bag pattern and then decided I was going to make a cute wallet first. I found TONS of tutorials online but didn’t really like any of them. I finally found a picture of one I loved!! I mean the super cute and loved loved loved it wallet. However there was no tutorial for it. Bummer…
But!! The there were tons of pictures and the dimensions of the wallet opened and closed were written under the wallet pictures. Since I’m a total math geek this was right up my ally! Two hours later and BOMB…I had a pattern all written up. A few more hours later, many more hours later it all came together! So cute and perfect for everything.
I think the first draft went great, I’ve got to add a 1/2″ here and a 1/4″ there. But I love it and it works much better then my guys tri-fold. So much cuter to! If I do say so myself.
I loved making it, and will be making more. It’s large but it holds everything. For the first time I have a place to put change that’s NOT in my pocket! I finally won’t find loose change floating around my car because it fell out of my pocket. Now it’s time to make the bag to to this cute wallet in!

Very cute! Love the bright green… green… swoon!
So cute!
Cute wallet!
I LOVE this!!!
Hey girl this is adorable. So will you share your pattern or sell your pattern? I would love to make some of these for family for christmas. You did a great job.
Whitney-
I cracked the pattern of someone else. So it would be totally wrong of me to sell it. I am going to make alterations to it so I can sell the wallets, things that I would like in it/to be changed. But for now, you can find the pattern here http://www.etsy.com/shop/krazyfashion. She sells the pattern as well as the wallets.
